as posted by the channelIMPORTANT DETAILS: I'm bringing this video out a day earlier than I usually do to draw your attention to an important legal action that is being brought against the government over the issue of the Chagos Islands.
My recent career has revolved around exposing the abdication of political power and responsibility in this country to lawyers and quangoes, and that this is against the interests of the country. The surrender of sovereign British territory (with the same legal status as the Falkland Islands) on the flimsiest international ruling possible is the absolute quintessence of that approach.
On Tuesday, lawyers will seek permission to judicially review the government's decision to give the Chagos Islands away, on the grounds that the people who are actually native to them, the Chagossians, have never been consulted.

Richard Tice MP is backing this legal action, and Reform has pledged to nullify the surrender deal if it gains office. Here he tells me just why he's so concerned about Britain's capitulation.
