YouTube Description
as posted by the channelMy guest this week is Professor David Betz from the Department of War Studies at King's College London. He has recently received attention for his work on the possibility of a civil war breaking out in the United Kingdom, given the grave underlying tensions in our society and culture.
During my conversation, Professor Betz went possibly further than he has ever done before, suggesting that historians looking back on 21st century Britain will judge the first steps in a path to civil war to have already been taken. He pointed specifically to the Islamist control over West Midlands Police force as one of many possible trigger points.
We also discussed the prospect of the Reform Party acting as a safety valve for the anger of British people over the transformation of their country.
