Having been burned by the man who promised to continue Jeremy Corbyn’s socialist policies only to denounce Corbyn and kick him out of the party, they knew that Starmer’s words weren’t worth a fig.
It goes to show that listening to your opponents remains a useful exercise, even if 99% of what they say is hogwash.
