[ Bakhmut Front ] Wagner forces choose to link up with southern flank, over cutting road at Khromove

Russian forces in a "surprised move", progressed quickly south of the Berkhivske Reservoir towards the village/town of Bohdanivka. While Russian forces continue their counter-counter offensive towards Ivanivske and the highway west of Ivanivske.

Rybar corroborated the Russian capture of Dubovo-Vasylivka, but is disputed by DeepStateUA. Thus the status of the town remains in dispute.

Ukrainian forces blew up the dam NW of Bakhmut to slow down the Russian progress in the northern part of Bakhmut. Fighting however continues in the east, south and SW of Bakhmut.
