YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe daily tactical SITREP is back. This update covers the fighting reports from July 14th to 15th, 2024, providing a deep dive into the "modern warfare meta" and the shifting front lines across Ukraine.
Inside This SITREP:
- Modern Warfare Meta (Zaporizhzhia Front): I explain how ground is captured in the current drone-heavy environment. It’s no longer about simple assaults; it’s about persistent strikes on strongholds until defenders have no choice but to retreat. We see this currently in the Orikhiv sector.
- Dnipro Front Offensive: Ukrainian forces are conducting a very strong and successful offensive in the southern half of this sector. With reports of success in the Pidon region, we are seeing a return to what we previously called the "Koma Front."
- Pokrovsk Front: A breakdown of the latest assault reports from the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, including fighting in the Shevchenko and Novozhelanne sectors, and the discrepancies in reports near Udachne.
- Northern Sectors (Sloviansk to Sumy):
- Analysis of the "gray zone" forest fighting on the Lyman Front.
- Addressing the massive Russian claims of capture in the Sumy Front (Myropillia region) and why the lack of geolocation evidence makes these reports questionable.
- A look at the difficult terrain and skirmishes on the Vovchansk and Kupiansk Fronts.
I’m testing out this more detailed daily format again to ensure we don't miss the full tactical picture. Let me know in the comments if you prefer these deep-dives over the shorter frontline changes reports.
