My first look at the upcoming patch for Path of Exile, Synthesis.
First impression is strong! Some great reworks and really interesting builds made available by this patch.
Thoughts:
- CI builds are back, and energy leech opens up for a lot of new builds
- Ice Trap / Lightning Trap got huge buffs
- Blight / Essence Drain is very good now
- Arc is still good
- Storm brand is still good (12% damage nerf or so not big deal)
- EK is pretty insane now
- Kingmaker's is a top tier item now
- Zealotry is great, lots of new builds for rclick casters now
