SO IT HAS COME TO THIS. I've recently been getting a lot of questions about Epic Games and their store. There's a lot of misinformation going around about the Epic Games Store and how Epic Games collects your data.
In this video I attempted to unravel the truth from the fiction in the Epic Games story. A lot of the issues around this started with a single Reddit thread about the "localconfig.vdf" file that Epic Games was reading off of Steam. That reddit thread is here
It's pretty crazy this all got picked up from a Reddit thread and some sensationalist headlines.
