This video is a short commenting on a lot of the problems in the game industry with overworking employees. I've talked about this a bit before. There was a recent article with Rockstar Games about how some people were working 90+ hours a week. We've also seen this show up in a lot of game companies, including Riot Games, Blizzard / Activision, and more. This is also just a problem in tech companes in general, and I see a lot of it from Microsoft and Amazon in Seattle. Finally, Elon Musk tells his employees at Tesla to "work harder." This is never the solution. The solution is better management and goals.

There's no real reason for these companies to have these insane work weeks. In this video we go over the problem and talk a little bit about how it can be addressed with better goal setting. We'll probably do a bigger video on the "workplace crunch time" that is effecting gaming lately, this is just an introduction.
