Disguised Toast surprised everyone when he announced his move to Facebook Gaming. As the first large content creator to leave Twitch for Facebook, Toast made a short video on Twitter talking about his decision.
He then started his first livestream on Facebook Gaming to about 7,000 viewers. I didn't have much time to breakdown the move today, so I focused on some of the main reasons why someone might consider going to a platform like Facebook Gaming over Twitch.
Although I'm not as big on Facebook Gaming as I am on Twitch, I do think Facebook Gaming has a lot going for it in the future. It has the potential to grow depending on how Facebook chooses to follow through with it.
There's a lot more to discuss on this issue but I ran out of time! Hopefully this is a good intro.
