This video answers a classic question about restreaming and syndicating content that I get a LOT. I wanted to make a video that addresses the fundamental way that users behave when interacting with social media.
People misunderstand how others use social media platforms like Twitch, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. I want to talk about how to grow a brand and build an audience on these platforms. Specifically as a streamer on Twitch, if you want to grow your stream, you need to focus on getting discovered as many places as possible.
One of the common misconceptions about 'brand' is that small streamers / beginning level influencers / etc are "brands." But you are not a "brand" until someone knows you for something. If you are trying to build a brand, the first step is to realize you are not starting off as one. Become known for something in as many places as possible.
I also seek to clarify the question 'should you restream to multiple platforms?' to which my answer is a resounding yes.
I hope this video is enlightening to people and helpful to anyone trying to grow a stream, grow on Twitch, grow on Mixer, or grow on multiple platforms. I hope it answers a bunch of questions about growing as an influencer that are asked to me everyday.
