In my experience in the agency world one of the most common things I come across are predatory contracts issued by esports organizations and talent agencies that know they can get away with it. I've made a couple videos about this subject, but I wanted to make a specific and updated video about the problems with these contracts, and what content creators and esports professionals should fight for when negotiating against organizations.
This video exposes how influencers get taken advantage of. If you want to make money as an influencer, you will eventually work with agencies who help influencers find sponsorships. Knowing how to work with those agencies is critical.
My goal is to put this information out there for free as a reference people can share around - since the ways these contracts get predatory are static and unlikely to change much. It's just a matter of knowing the information and understanding your rights. Hopefully it helps.
