There is an old instruction, repeated in nearly every tradition and followed by almost no one, to write the dream down before it fades. Not from superstition, but because the dream carries information the waking mind discards too fast to use. This conversation opens there, with the discipline of recording what the soul does at night, and moves into something more unsettling, the claim that most experiences people call mystical are not contact with the divine at all. They are a confusion of hierarchy, a meeting with something smaller than God mistaken for the real thing.

What a person craves to eat, how much sun their skin can survive, whether their nature runs toward freedom or toward security, none of it is a small detail. It is the actual blueprint of who someone is and what they can safely become. Against that blueprint runs a second argument, about time. Nothing here promises a shortcut. A person is shaped the way water shapes stone, slowly, through years that cannot be skipped without cost. Whatever looks like overnight transformation gets treated as either a lie or a debt that comes due later.

The most concrete stretch of the conversation is personal, tracing back to a child told by his own teachers, in front of his parents, that he would never amount to anything. The anger from that never got pointed at another person, and it never turned inward either. It got redirected into years of quiet building, with no audience and no shortcut, aimed at nothing except proving those specific people wrong.

What ties the whole conversation together is not one idea but one discipline, learning exactly what your own nature requires, when it says act and when it says wait, and refusing to borrow someone else's timeline, someone else's diet, or someone else's permission to finally begin.
