The pharisees very often taught their own traditions as if they doctrines of God, keeping them from being led by the Spirit. Beloved, this same phenomenon can happen in our lives. Do not let the pressure of the Christian culture get in the way of walking with integrity before the Lord, and being led by the Spirit of God. Within Christian culture there are man made rules that ask you to look or act a certain way and say certain things. Let's make sure our hearts are always being lifted to the Lord and we are led by His Word, rather than religious traditions.
