15:46Now PlayingFr. Christopher Alar, MIC, Director of the Association of Marian Helpers, leads the faithful on a three day Lenten Divine Mercy Parish Mission. On this Wednesday morning, the focus on Fr. Alar's homily is living and proclaiming the truth. Fr. Alar proclaims in a modern world that puts the emphasis on people's emotions and feelings, the misguided priority is to not offend people, even if it means sacrificing the truth in the process. Fr. Alar calls this process "A recipe for disaster." As a result, diversity produces many different "truths" which destroys unity.
The answer and solution is God's infinite mercy which produces only one real truth, that unifies and loves.
Fr. Christopher Alar, MIC, is with The Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, where the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy is located.
