Yet Jesus told St. Faustina: “Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy” (Diary, 300). True peace does not come from governments, movements, or human strategies — it comes from conversion, trust, and surrender to Divine Mercy.
We are not merely facing social or political unrest; as St. Paul teaches in Ephesians 6:10-20, our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against “principalities and powers” — a real spiritual battle. Every Christian is already enlisted, whether they realize it or not. There is no neutral ground.
But Christ has not left us defenseless. He has armed His Church with powerful spiritual weapons: the Holy Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the Sacred Liturgy, the Sacraments, and the intercession of holy angels and saints. These are not quaint devotions; they are heavenly armaments stronger than anything in the world.
In times of fear and uncertainty, our response must be trust, prayer, and sacramental life. God’s order will triumph over chaos. His mercy will bring peace — but only when we turn to Him with confidence. As we face this battle together, let us take up our spiritual weapons and fight under Christ’s banner of mercy.
