They live in perfect praise, receiving every gift from God with wonder, gratitude, and joy. Heaven is like Christmas every day because the angels never stop thanking the Lord for what He pours out.
This is the posture Jesus calls us to: spiritual childhood. The Catechism teaches that humility and trust open the heart to divine grace (CCC 2559). St. Faustina lived this perfectly, surrendering her will and receiving God’s gifts with total simplicity. Her Diary teaches us that holiness begins when we stop striving in our own strength and start receiving like children.
Ask the Lord today for the grace of childlikeness—thankfulness, wonder, joy, and trust. Like the angels, may we praise Him day and night.
