When Forgiveness Becomes Mercy

Father Chris Alar, MIC, reminds us that forgiveness is not a luxury but a divine command. He warns that even God cannot forgive us if we cling to unforgiveness toward others, echoing the plea in the Our Father: “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.” This simple petition reveals a profound truth: forgiveness frees our souls before the throne of mercy.
