The Catechism teaches that moral truth is not subject to human vote or cultural shift. Natural law reveals God’s will written into creation itself. When we claim the authority to redefine life, marriage, or human dignity, we repeat the error of Adam and Eve — choosing self‑determination over obedience to the One who made us.
Father Chris reminds us that freedom does not mean the ability to do whatever we want. True freedom is the capacity to choose what is good, what aligns with God’s plan. The moral law is not a restriction but a protection, guiding us toward flourishing and away from destruction.
