Goodz recalls his beginnings dating back to around 10yearsold when he first began rappings, and later getting involved in cyphers and being introduced to Battle Rap that way.
His first on-camera battle was against Head Ice, and according to Goodz, that occurred back in the days when people didn't even aware of a potential battle arising so there was no time to really prepare for a specific opponent. However, according to Goodz, battling is "instinct" and back then he was always ready at any time or any place just in case he had to clash with another rhymer at random moments.
