JC vs John John was originally scheduled to be a part of the Summer Madness 3 card, however it was one of the battles that was unfortunately postponed due to the altercation that occurred between Math Hoffa and Serius Jones. It took place at a later date and the outcome of the battle was not to John John's liking.
He was sick when he battled JC, and he wasn't fond of virtually every aspect of the battle, from his clothes to the crowd reaction, everything. John John felt so unsure about the battle that he actually thought he lost when it took place, despite many others believing he won 2-1. He later reflected on his classic battle vs Hitman Holla at Summer Madness 2 and how different he felt going into that battle.
