DNA spoke with Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about the increasing popularity of the URL's Proving Grounds rappers. DNA was very realistic about their talent and ability to defeat the Battle Rap veterans, but he believes that they might feel it's easier than it really is when it comes time to battle. The fact that they would be considered the "underdog" in battles vs veteran rappers gives them an edge, as DNA believes it is easier to be the underdog going up against someone with a bigger name.
He went on to address how much work his class of Battle Rappers put in, and therefore paved the way for new PG faces to gain a higher amount of notoriety at a faster pace. When asked who he felt won the battle between Aye Verb vs Ah Di Boom, DNA felt as though the newcomer defeated the veteran, Verb.
