3:19Now PlayingDuring Math Hoffa's very first interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes, Hughes got Math to share the gritty story of how he received the scar on his face. At first, Math was a bit reluctant to speak on the subject, but eventually he opened up in graphic detail.
He recalled being 15 years old when it happened, and how his pride and heart to face any opposition made him stand his ground instead of back down once his opponent pulled out the razor on him.
The altercation occurred in Brooklyn where Math spent many of his years growing up. After exchanging blows back and forth, he and his teenage enemy fell into a pile of garbage on the sidewalk, which is where the slashing occurred. However, the fight didn't end there.
With Math's adrenaline pumping, he didn't even notice that he had received a fresh "buck fifty" slice on his cheek. That didn't stop him from landing a hard three-piece combo that floored his foe. At the end of it all, both Math and the young man who cut him had to go to the hospital following the brawl. However, Math seemed to imply that the man he fought had to spend the night.
When it comes to gritty and detailed stories, Math Hoffa's are surely the best.
