If Jay had known he was being filmed, and continued to duck and dodge Solange, men would understand that. However, because Jay was unaware many were surprised that he just took the hits. He also said that judging by how aggressive Solange was, Jay must have done something really crazy to deserve it, especially seeing as how Beyonce didn't step in to defend him.
When asked if most Houston women are normally that aggressive, he says yes, but that the city always looked at the Knowles household as a little classier than most.
