This battle has a lot of history behind it, as they were supposed to battle numerous times in the past. Being that Cortez is the front-runner of Murda Ave, and T-Rex is one of Dot Mob's top competitors, as well as the fact that the two crews have had competitive tension for years, the battle is sure to be a classic in the making.
Cortez is confident in his ability to defeat Rex, stating that this is the first time in a long time that he's really wanted to "kill" his opponent. He's mentally prepared himself to beat Rex 3-0, and believes that all of his past battles have led to this moment. Given that Cortez endured a fair amount of hatred from the fans in the past, he understands that losing is not an option in this battle.
This is the first time that Smack/URL will try a "no entourage policy" during the battle, so it will only be T-Rex and Cortez battling 1-on-1 on stage at NOME 4. The battle should be very interesting, so make sure you don't miss it on June 7th.
