14:11Now PlayingRapper Maserati Met opens up about his taped phone conversation with Donald Sterling, revealing that he worked things out with the Clippers owner's lawyer to cut certain topics out of the tape. He also shares that he was paid well into the six figures for the audio recording, which he said was obtained legally since it was recorded in Georgia; laws in the state allow people to tape conversations.
When asked if he thinks Sterling should lose the team, Maserati says that while he believes the billionaire shouldn't be owner of the Clippers, his wife Shelly should still be able to keep her half. He also addresses Sterling's legal case against the NBA, which the rapper strongly believes he will win.
The conversation then turns to Sterling's former mistress V. Stiviano, and Maserati points out that she denied she knew him on Dr. Phil, yet he then pulls out his phone to show texts from her. The rapper says he didn't want to come at her until Stiviano acted like she didn't know him, and says he's been around her plenty of times in Vegas where he claims "she's an escort."
He also addresses Don "Magic" Juan telling VladTV that he hung out with V. Stiviano, and says that he knew the two had chilled.
