4:08Now PlayingVladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes sat down for an exclusive interview with Hollow Da Don following his clash with Joe Budden on Shady Records' "Total Slaughter" battle card.
The clip starts off with a cool video-bomb moment from Royce Da 5'9, before Hollow began reflecting on the battle. While Hollow believes that he was successful in getting in his "bag," he did acknowledge that there were things that he could've done better. Overall he thinks that there were plenty of entertaining things said and drama that unfolded on the stage to please the fans.
Hollow spoke on Budden rapping from a handheld microphone throughout the battle instead of using the lavalieres, and he also explained how he was able to pick up bars that he truly believes were given to Budden by fellow New Jersey rapper, Tsu Surf.
The end of the clip switches gears to a more comical note when Chicago battler Big T came out of his hotel room spitting bars, and Hollow joked about how T is always rapping regardless of where he is.
