The "Cooler Than Me" singer said that he initially had a meeting with Scooter about signing a deal, but nothing came of their meeting until Mike was at a Clippers game in L.A. and Braun shouted him out. After the two were talking, Mike proposed writing for Justin's album and Scooter approved.
Mike said he and Justin formed a good relationship in the studio, and have been close friends ever since. He also adds that most of the stuff you read about the "Baby" singer in the tabloids isn't true, and Mike calls Justin one of the most loyal friends he's had.
