Cassidy: You Can't Pay Me Like an Average Battler

The press conference for the highly anticipated battle ,Cassidy vs. Dizaster, was highly energetic, as both MC's spoke their piece on the upcoming battle. In this clip, Cassidy shut down rumors that he was ever offered $100,000 to battle Murda Mook in the past. He did acknowledge that he has since turned down offers to battle for $40K, $70K, and $100K later on, but he was never offered that amount to battle Mook years ago. Cassidy explained that he and Mook are real cool now, and he wishes him nothing but the best in his career.

He also addressed the high amount of money that he was paid for this battle, which according to Cassidy, is a whopping $250,000. Cass doesn't believe that he should be paid the amount that an average battler would make, and therefore had to hold out until he was paid what he feels he is worth. Interestingly enough, Dizaster doubts that Cassidy is telling the truth about his payment for the battle. Diz thinks that Cassidy lied about receiving $250,000 for the battle, but did acknowledge that he is being paid a lot.
