5:14Now PlayingAye Verb reflected on various moments in his Battle Rap career in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes.
Verb addressed his past battles with Caustic and Illmaculate on KOTD, and how his performance was affected by the amount of time set in place on the contracts. He explained that he was only paid for a certain amount of time and when it came time to battle, his opponents were trying to rap for much longer than that. Verb credited Smack/URL for being the league that pays him the most money, and therefore, he puts the most effort into preparing for battles on that platform.
Aye Verb also addressed his Summer Madness 2 battle vs. T-Rex, and whether or not Diddy's decision to award Rex with the $10k was biased in favor of Harlem. He concluded by touching on his past battle vs. Hitman Holla, and how he strongly believes that he is the reason for the amount of success that St. Louis has had in the sport of Battle Rap.
