According to NBC News, Colorado deputies said the incident happened few miles outside of Denver at a local food mart. The man was seen wearing a blue bandana and hoodie with red and yellow sneakers. When he walked into the mart, the man said to the clerk, " I was going to rob this place, but I know you." He then asked if the clerk knew him. When he replied "no," the man gave him a thumbs up, walked out of the store and robbed a 7-Eleven down the road.
