McCall and Brown's second most notable collaboration, "Strip," dropped just when the two singers' relationship started fading, with Kevin saying Brown began surrounding himself with "fake a** n***as" that he didn't want to associate with, and that the two were spending less and less time together. The song was originally done just for fun, but began taking off on radio. According to McCall, Brown didn't want to drop the single but the label talked him into it.
