Rico Love on Why He Brought in Outside Production for New Album

VladTV is here with another poignant interview with singer,songwriter, Rico Love. His platinumpen strokes and production have led to both critical acclaim and Grammy awards. To name a few, Love has worked on Beyonce's 'I Am...Sasha Fierce,' Usher's 'Raymond vs Raymond,' and Fergie's 'The Dutchess.' Love understands how to construct a hit, and he exclusively reveals why he chose not to produce each track on his upcoming album, 'Turn the Lights On.'

Love attests, "Who am I to be so arrogant to say I'm going to produce every record? That's the dumbest thing. I watch so many new artists and their arrogance. And they say they know it all." He goes on to credit his manager, Danny Dominguez, as being "one of the best A&R's on the planet earth."

Reflecting on his successful career, Love continues, "I don't know everything, bro. And I was on a whole different way of thinking on this album before I sat down with my manager, Danny. And he said to me, 'Bro, let's try it this way.' And I was able to write some of the best music of my life."
