YouTube Description
as posted by the channelCoach Tom Thibodeau, who obviously year after year is a candidate for Coach of the Year, talks dealing with the common injuries to Derrick Rose, the team's franchise player, and still seeming to overcome and have a competing team year after year. Many NBA fans and writers have questioned Thibs' lack of rest for many of his star players, especially in games where he has his starters playing 40 minutes plus, which causes fatigue and the team noticeably taps out during the playoffs.
In this exclusive, Thibs talks about his team physically being limited with all the injuries, and how it's a major concern for him as a coach to adjust nightly. He was also questioned about the team's mental toughness, instead of the physical toughness which he eluded to being a possible problem, but "it is what it is." Thibs also doesn't take the fact that a guy like Serge Ibaka won't be in the lineup, which he gives praise to guys like Mitch McGary who seem to be filling the void and the team hasn't missed a beat.
To close out the footage, Thibodeau gives his thoughts on one of the top players in the league, Russell Westbrook, who is on tear as we all know. Thibs is all too familiar with super athletic point guards, as he has coached one in Derrick Rose.
Props to sneakerreporter for the exclusive footage.
