1:45Now PlayingVladTV recently sat down for an interview with North Carolina spitter Rapsody, and the Jamla Records MC, whose pen reflects her intense study of HipHop's pioneers and its Golden Era lyricists, discussed her upcoming project plus and motivated her to reissue her EP 'Beauty And The Beast.'
When speaking on her untitled sophomore project, which is a follow-up to 'The Idea of Beautiful,' she revealed that its release date will either be "late summer [or] early fall."
Following details pertaining to the release and marketing of her second album, Rapsody confirmed that 9th Wonder will serve as executive producer on her pending project. Grateful for the eager listeners that she's garnered since being featured on Kendrick Lamar's culturally hailed album, 'To Pimp A Butterfuly,' Rapsody confided that her camp has rereleased her EP, 'Beauty And The Beast,' and added three additional songs to it.
The clip ends with the "Complexion" MC speaking on working with her producers and labelmates, the Soul Council. Eric G and 9th Wonder, as well as Young Guru, are credited for producing the additional three tracks for the reissue of 'Beauty And The Beast.'
