Lord Jamar On Baltimore Cops: They're Blue Before They're Black

Hundreds of thousands of American citizens applauded the Baltimore mom who smacked her son around on national television after noticing his involvement in the riots. While there are others who have taken to bashing the woman's actions, Lord Jamar feels we're missing the bigger picture. "It's to ingrain something in your mind," he says in reference to the video going viral. Lord Jamarwho doesn't care for the mother's actionsfeels it was beat into our heads by the media as a way for us to accept the emasculation of Black men. "They're literally trying to f****** control you from so many different angles. If we knew this we'd be better able to combat them," Lord Jamar states.

He wasn't even surprised when he found out that three of the six officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray are Black, citing that "they're blue before they're Black." "Most of the time the Black police officer on the scene is going to be of a lower rank, too, so they're still going to have to go and do whatever the f*** the high ranked officer says," Lord Jamar adds.
