"I want somebody to remember me by [my] music like a branch off my daddy. He had the streets so I'ma do the music," says Lil Durk.

As he gears up to drop his debut album, Lil Durk took the time to sit down with VladTV and discuss what we can expect from "Remember My Name." Although he says the name is self-explanatory, the Chicago rapper says it'll be a nice change from his mixtapes. "All the songs really mean something behind the name," he states.

When it comes to working with rapper French Montana, Lil Durk says the Coke Boys front-runner helps him out 100% of the time. Unfortunately for his upcoming album "Remember My Name," Lil Durk says "we ain't get a chance to use none of the songs we did [together]" (referring to French), but we can expect "a lot of remixes and songs" that he and other rappers like Meek Mill will get on. Find out who else will be on his debut in the clip.

"Remember My Name" releases June 2.
