Inspectah Deck went through an uphill battle to put out his first album, which was delayed after the entire project was lost in a flood at Raekwon's house. He added, "My whole album wasn't what y'all heard as 'Uncontrolled Substance,'" as the WuTang emcee had to start all over again.
During the sit-down Inspectah Deck also detailed his legal issues with Loud Records, which also played a part in his album's delay after the label went "defunct." After realizing that the label wasn't a great fit, Inspectah Deck went through a legal battle to get out of his contract.
