5:16Now PlayingIn this exclusive clip from his sitdown with VladTV battle rap correspondent Mike Florence, Tsu Surf explains how the idea of him stepping in the ring with battle rap legend Murda Mook came to life.
Surf begins to speak on what led to Drake mentioning his name at NOME 5. The Reach God also revealed that even though Drizzy is responsible for adding to the hype of the potential showdown, a battle between himself and The Dot Mobb front man has been in the works for quite some time. He goes on to acknowledge Mook's skills but says he questions his resume outside of his classic battles with Loaded Lux, Iron Solomon and Jae Millz. He even states that Mook's acting career is a "big move" for battle rap.
When asked if this battle would be his last before leaving to pursue his music career, Tsu Surf responded by saying that this would indeed be his final time in the ring. The clip closes out with Tsu Surf giving his opinion on the capability of an artist focusing on their music while also preparing for a battle.
