15:44Now PlayingCharles Hamilton has one hell of a story. From rapping and vibing out with Kanye West and the Game to ending up in three different mental hospitals, the Harlem lyricist doesn't shy away from his tale, because in the end, he simply doesn't "give a f***."
Hamilton says "a lot of self-negligence" led to him finding out about his bi-polar disorder. He remembers it being "pretty intense" when he was medically diagnosed, and by that point the only person "that showed genuine love and concern" was his mom. During this clip Charles Hamilton discusses his drug activity and hospital visits in great detail, including the girlfriend he began dating during one of his stays. "I found romance in a mental hospital, lo and behold," he tells us.
Before delving into the aforementioned story, Charles Hamilton recalls the time he engaged in a cypher with Game and Kanye at Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles, California. The Game and Kanye were reminiscing about a battle they had when Hamilton jumped in and said "Yo, y'all wanna have a cypher right now?" We ask him who ultimately won, and as he sips his water Hamilton responds with "it was between me and Kanye, honestly - no disrespect to Game."
