Recently, VladTV's interview with the funny man has made its rounds through media after Bill Cosby was charged for an alleged sexual assault stemming from 2004. Now Apatow says people will manipulate the truth just to defend the comedic icon tweeting, "It hurts when an icon betrays all who loved him. That's why people look for conspiracies. The truth is too awful." Dec. 30, after Cosby posted his $1 million bail, Apatow tweeted his support for the women alleging they've been drugged and raped by the 78-year-old, and hoped that they would get justice. "Bill Cosby has spent his life attempting to silence the women he has assaulted with threats, lawsuits and money," Apatow tweeted, "Hopefully now many of these women will get to tell their stories in a court of law and the people who supported him will get deposed."
