as posted by the channelBack in 2016, Marcellus Wiley came to VladTV to talk with us about his show on ESPN, how he did an interview with an artist, and it almost erupted into a beef, whose winning in the rap beef game and much more.
Marcellus wasn't able to get into specifics, but he told us as much as he could about the tape that had to be scrapped due to Drake or Kendrick going off. While recording his show Sports Nation, one of the rappers either Drake or Kendrick came on the show and went in. "It was orders given from one person's camp to our company that they should not air it... sometimes we tape, sometimes we go live.. that day, unfortunately, we were taping..." He went on to say, "We were like... [to the artist] what's up with the beef is it real? All of the sudden... he starts talking noise...I'm thinking I'm on Vlad, XXL, The Source..." Marcellus explained he was in shock, but was ready to release the taping of the show until they received a call. "Our bosses come up to us, and they're like we have to extinguish the interview... their camp called and said it couldn't be aired..." As excited as Marcellus was about the moment he was upset the tape had to be discarded.
Vlad and Marcellus continued to talk about the multiple rap beef Drake has found himself in, including Meek Mill and Joe Budden.
