Willie D opened up to VladTV about how the death of his mother affected him in ways he wasn't prepared for, as Willie revealed that he was abused throughout his childhood by his mother. The Geto Boys rapper explained that he comes from an era where you love your mother above all else, but he added that no kid deserves to be abused.
During the conversation, Willie opened up about his own parenting, admitting that he whipped his kids a few times but realizing that it was the wrong way to punish a kid. He also spoke about self-love, which you can hear more about in the above clip.
