For that reason, they concede that while bullies of course exist on the internet, the victimization element seems self-inflicted due to the fact that it’s easy to avoid the contact altogether. Furthermore, in the cases that bullying extends beyond the internet, the issue is no longer the same, thus it requires a different response in consideration to the genuine victims of that type of abuse.
