"Why is stripping such a sin?" she asked Vlad during the segment, "Stripping saved me. Drug dealers and scammers get praised, but strippers get shamed."
From there, however, Vlad challenged Cardi that she likely wouldn't be thrilled if she ever had a daughter that became a stripper, yet the future Grammy Award-winning artist ultimately said that wouldn't be her decision to make. For that reason, Cardi said she would encourage her daughter to do whatever her heart desired, while pointing out that she would be there to support her every step of the way.
Elsewhere in the clip, she mentioned how she was trying to develop thick skin after getting criticized online, which led to a thorough breakdown of the hypocrisies and realities of slut shaming.
