Big U: Nipsey Hussle Unified the Different Gangs in LA (Flashback)

In this flashback clip from 2018, Big U spoke about his work in the community and how he considers it his pathway to heaven, noting that he was repenting for previous sins that he had committed in his past. "I don't want to be remembered for being a negative force," he said during the segment, "I want to be able to say that I did right."

From there, he spoke about how gang violence had decreased in Los Angeles over recent years, while crediting Nipsey Hussle's movement for bridging the gaps throughout their communities. He notes that despite Nipsey always claiming the Rolling 60s he never disrespected other sets, which he believes helped kill the color lines throughout LA. Additionally, it allowed Nipsey to work with everybody in the city regardless of gang affiliations, garnering him a reputation as being one of the most beloved artists of his generation.
