Chuck D starts out this clip by speaking about Public Enemy's debut album, Yo! Bumrush the Show, inspired the name for "Yo! MTV Raps." He went on to explain how London is the homebase for Public Enemy, and how the group signed with Def Jam in 1986 after Rick Rubin offered him a solo deal in 1986. Chuck D also spoke about the group creating a new sound in hip-hop, and he added that Flavor Flav's only job is to "suck the stardom out of any room," which you can hear more about above.
