Akon came through for yet another VladTV interview, and this time around, he started out by speaking about being born in the U.S. and being raised in Senegal. He explained that his father made sure that his children were born and educated in the U.S., and Akon added that he and his siblings were in Senegal any chance they could. He went on to detail life in Senegal, including not having running water and electricity, and Akon added that they spend French money in Senegal, which Senegalese people aren't allowed to spend in France.
