Given John Salley's appearances in the first two Bad Boys films, it's no surprise that the former talk show host was asked his opinion of the Red Table Talk between Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Salley gave Will praise for the way he supported his wife. Using the Kobe Bryant cheating scandal and the support he received from his wife as an example, Salley encouraged men to be able to see the other side.
The former NBA player also said August Alsina had no business speaking on the private relationship he had with Jada Pinkett Smith. In addition, Salley said the Red Table Talk segment was an example of why movie stars shouldn't be on television discussing their personal lives. Using Elizabeth Taylor and Jennifer Lopez's multiple marriages as examples, Salley added that sex is private and no one really cares.
