In the latest clip, Adrien Broner spoke about his 2017 victory over Adrian Granados. Broner explained that him and Granados already had a friendship and were previously sparring partners, so he wanted to get Granados a big payday. When asked about his $1 million payday for the fight, Broner claimed that was the amount "on paper" before stating, "there's a lot of sh** that goes on in that backroom."
The conversation transitioned to AB's shooting incident and arrest in Cincinnati that same year. The cops pulled the former boxing champ over and arrested him for a warrant, but they also saw that his car had eight bullet holes. According to Broner, he was at a bar on the west side of town - a place Broner admits he wasn't supposed to be at. He said that as he was driving, he started hearing gunshots hit his car and began to evade the shooters. According to AB, he was laughing as 30 shots were fired with the first few hitting the driver-side door.
Broner added that the attempt on his life was over him not letting a group of guys hang around him. Broner also explained that he had been in "plenty" of shootouts before that incident but that one, in particular, made him move from the city.
