Andre Rison started out his first-ever VladTV interview by speaking about growing up in Flint, Michigan. He explained that he grew up tending to his father's wounds after he was injured by stepping on a landmine in the Vietnam War. Andre revealed that he didn't have much contact with his father when he got older, but when he got the call that his father had hours to live, he got on a private plane to say his goodbyes. Once in the hospital, Andre revealed that his father still had his sense of humor, as he asked if Andre was "still dating that girl Right Eye," referring to Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes.
